Usher Ministry
The Usher Ministry at Christ Apostolic Church House of Refuge extends a warm and hospitable welcome to all who enter our sanctuary.
Our dedicated team ensures that every visitor feels valued, comfortable, and at home in God’s house.
From greeting guests at the door to assisting with seating and providing information about our services, the Usher Ministry plays a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for worship and fellowship.
I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness.
Ps 84:10
Like John the Baptist (Isa40:3), ushers are forerunners for all other ministries in the congregation. The ushers of C.AC. House of refuge engage in the church service by seating
the congregation, maintaining the order and security of services. As Jesus commanded before feeding over 5000 people with loaves for bread and fish (LK9:13-17). In addition, we collect and take up the church offering to make sure it is put in the proper place (2Kings
22:4). The ushers serve as go-between for the ministers and the congregation.
We are aware that only a few people get to meet the pastor, ask questions, or talk with musicians, but everyone can have an encounter with a good usher. With fear and trembling (Phil2:12)
we strife to make this encounter an act of service that directs people into fellowship withJesus.
Activities: – Monthly meetings are held every 2nd Saturday of each month.
